As to Gregory's offerings, I honestly don't think I have any 'irrational' phobias unless you count my fear of being in more than two and a half feet of water. Then again, I'm not even five feet tall so maybe there's something to that one after all :)

ReplyDeleteThat is a good question, what scares me most. HMMMMMMMMMMM..Nothing really scares me anymore, not since I was a little kid.
There is one BIG mystery in my life that is deemed unsolvable. I would like to know who my blood father and blood mother are. I am adopted and I would like to get to know my birth parents...
Horror creatures really do not scare me anymore because I know they are fake!!!
I would LOVE to go on a paranormal investigation!!!
I didn't know you were adopted, Drew--maybe you'll find out someday. I have an irrational fear of dolls. Especially creepy looking ones, but even some "cute" ones freak me out. Rather a challenge when you're a mom of two girls :)

DeleteFor Gregory Thompson's question - My most irrational phobia is easy. I have social anxiety. I'm afraid of people and how they perceive me to a high enough extent for it to be a condition. I know it's irrational, but I can't change it
ReplyDeleteFor Kim Faulks' question - pretty much the same as my answer to Gregory. Social anxiety. I'm terrified of how people view me. A bunch of health issues hit me, and I gained a lot of weight. I'm terrified of seeing people I know because of how I look. The weight gain itself, meh, don't care too much. But how people view me? That's a biggie.
ReplyDeleteFor Tara's question - I'd like to solve fibromyalgia. The docs have no clue why or how it happens, You can't effectively treat something without that knowledge. I'd want to find out that.
ReplyDeleteAnd for Tina, my answer's about the same as Tara's. Why did I develop fibro? And why did I develop a spondyloarthritis? Health issues suck.
ReplyDeleteFor JoAnn, fictional horror creatures just don't scare me. It's too unrealistic to be something that would, say, cause nightmares. I'm more afraid of the criminals that are human in horror. I live alone, and I have this fear that someone will break in and something bad will happen to me. Seeing it happen in movies to characters freaks me out.
ReplyDeleteLastly, Christopher's question. I've never been on a paranormal investigation, but I'd give it a try. I'm a major skeptic, so I'd like to see what people think is proof of ghosts in person. My parents have done one, and while they found it a bit hokey, they still had fun :)

ReplyDeleteMystery in my own life... My grandparents adopted a girl from el salvador when I was a teenager, but a few years later my grandmother and the girl had a fight and my grandmother kicked her out and i never saw her again. I'd like to find out what happened to her.
ReplyDeleteFictional creature that scares me the most would have to be , well I've been trying to think of one that truly scares me, and i can't come up with one. There was a time when creatures were truly horrifying, but now they are romanticized, I mean even ogres because of Shrek.
