ReplyDeleteDeep dark family secret huh? Well, after my dad died I found out that... okay, let me back up a bit. My father was in the army and after his time in the army he married my mom who was 10 years younger than him. After he died I found out that he had received a letter in the mail from a woman who wrote to him to let him know that he had fathered a son with her (this being when he was in the army). However, my mom read the letter first and never gave it to him. So as far as I know, he never knew about it. And it makes me angry that she didn't let him have the letter. It doesn't much surprise me though. My mom couldn't have boys and the one boy she did manage to give birth to died within a month. Plus, she probably looked at it as if he cheated on her, which he didn't because they hadn't even met then. So I apparently have a half brother somewhere in the world that I'm likely never going to know anything about.

ReplyDeleteI think you can find your soul mate as a teen, but I don't think a teen is necessarily ready for it and it may be years before they are mature enough to handle that kind of love.
ReplyDeletei have had lots of special pets, right now I have a wonderful great Dane (who is the size of a horse...lol) we've had him since he was 3 months old and he will be 5 on Christmas day. He has chosen me as his person and follows me around every where, but i think it's because 2 days after we got him I was taking him for a walk around the block and right when we got in front of our house a full grown German Shepherd came running up behind us and I knew I didn't have time to get into the house, and he was already the size of a full grown black lab, so I couldn't pick him up. I stepped in front of him, and yelled at the German shepherd "Go home." In the loudest and deepest voice I could muster. To my amazement the German shepherd turned around and went back the way he came. I'm 5'10, so i can be a bit intimidating when I need to be. Needless to say, he has been very loyal ever since. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I wouldn't want to live in a dystopia, but if i had to it would be one with a huge support group, where we stick together, fight for each other, share what we can. I wouldn't want to be alone in a dystopia.
ReplyDeleteMy uncle was adopted by my great grandmother. When I was older i realized just how odd it was, see my dad was the oldest and he had a younger sister who was younger then my uncle, so my uncle was the middle child I got to wondering why they could keep the oldest and the youngest, but not the middle one. As an adult I found out the my grand mother cheated on my grandfather while he was away (he was in the army) and had my uncle. My grandfather wasn't leaving my grandmother, but he refused to raise another man's child so my grand mother got my great grandmother (her mother) to adopt him so he stayed in the family.
ReplyDeleteFor Lindsey Loucks => If I loved one like my grandparents would wake from the dead, I would at first be horrified, then I would rejoice in the fact that the Lord chose them to be resurrected. I loved my grandparents very much!!!

For Nancy Pennick=> I would love my "love of my life" to be from the historical time period of 1600 - 1890 because all of the women back then new how to dress. They wore such pretty dresses!!!
For D.C. Garriott=> I believe that you can meet your soul mate in either high school or college, if not later...
For Shannon Kennedy=> My special pet growing up would have to be my family's pet dog Pepper. He was VERY fun to play with...
For Sarah Elle Emm=> If I lived in a dystopian world, by definition, I would be in hell....The definition of dystopia is > place where everything is very bad: an imaginary place where everything is as bad as it possibly can be.

A: Probably potions. I loved chem in high school
If you could find your true love from another time period, what time period would it be?
A: I don't really believe in true love, maybe something regency/Pride & Prejudice-y? I think I would've fit in well in that period.
Is it possible to find your soul mate as a child or teenager?
A:I don't believe in that concept. But, if there was such a thing, then sure. If it's meant to be it's meant to be, no matter how old you are.
Has there been a special pet (or horse) in your life that truly touched your heart?
A: My old cat, Sassy. Black, part Siamese cat. She terrified strangers but was the biggest sweetheart to me. She always seemed to know when I was upset and would be around me to cheer me up, even at the risk of provoking the other cat and dog into tormenting her (she hid a lot as she got older).
If you had to live in a dystopian world, what would it be like?
A: Probably everyone would have decent manners. But there'd be suppressed rage underneath it all from being forced to play nice with others.
Have you ever discovered a deep, dark family secret? If so, tell us about it!
A: Nope, my family is an open book. I know too many things I'd prefer not knowing, tbh.

I think I would like the spells class best, and I would not care what time period I found my true love in as long as I found him, I do believe a child or teen can find their sole mate I did at 15 and have been married 17 years now no sorry no family secret but it would be fun. DeleteI never owned a horse, although I love them to death. However, when you can't take care of an animal the right way, I believe it's best not to own one.
To answer the question, all the dogs and cats that I have owned have held a dear place in my heart. That's why I tend to say that they own me and not the other way around.

No deep dark family secrets, I think it's possible to meet your soul mate when your a child, I would freak out if a person came back to life, but it would be nice to talk to my grandparents one more time, if I could go back in time to find my soul mate....it would be 13th century Scotland, and no magic school for me...I only want super powers. Special dog would have been my very first dog, Snoopy!
