Yep, you heard me right, but that's not all. To enter, just complete all the easy entries on the Rafflecopter on the bottom of this page. Today let's hear from author Leona Pence and what she's thankful for:
Puppy Love
I’ve had so
many good things happen this past year; it’s hard to choose just one. My rescue
Spaniel-mix named Luna just looked at me with big brown eyes so full of
unconditional love. Yes, I consider her a blessing in spite of all her costly
doggie antics. There is now a nice 6-foot wooden privacy fence around my back
yard because a shorter chain-link fence couldn’t contain her. I’m thankful she
only dug under the new fence one time. I’ve lost count of all the shoes, power
cords, TV remotes, etc. that she’s destroyed, but that’s all in her puppy past.
And the new throw-rug covers the big hole in my bedroom linoleum quite nicely.
She appeared
to be deaf when I first got her, but it turned out that she had a bad ear
infection in both ears. Her owner had taken her and two siblings to a vet to be
euthanized and I’m thankful the vet intervened and sent them to a rescue
shelter. I fell in love with her when my granddaughter brought her here. Luna
sleeps on my bed and spends most evenings lying beside me while I use my laptop
computer. I call her Woona half the time. She doesn’t seem to mind.
I get a lot of pleasure watching her play with Jax,
my daughter’s small black dog. They both help take the monotony out of being in
a wheelchair all day long. Unconditional love is exactly what I feel for her.
(and Jax too).
