The Dark Seeds are a SciFi-Horror series seasoned with just enough Steampunk for flavor. The post apocalyptic story carries you into our future 2031 when the New World Order already has a firm control. The Order is in the last stages of global domination when their rewritten version of the Book of Revelations doesn't play out exactly as planned. A group of extraordinary characters from hidden bloodlines start to come into their own but must face their own personal demons before they'll be ready to take on the world. Will they find the courage and spirit to fight or will the gates of hell open and the demons swallow the last souls of humanity in darkness forever? Read the Dark Seeds for a ride into this future, gripping tale, where freedom is a sin.

Excerpt:
I had never noticed the seasons before. It seemed the autumn leaves had turned just this morning but most of the trees in the backyard were already barren. Most of my life was made up of fleeting moments; each day blending into the next. The moon rose, the sun set, and the sands of time fell without me. All I ever wanted was my freedom. It wasn’t until the day I started waking up, that my life, my entire world, began to change.
“Adina!”
My mother screeched like a hungry cat. I ignored her and pulled the light rods closer. “Just one more gear,” I whispered. The breaks between the warped, wooden panels created my workspace, otherwise known as mother’s shed. There was usually just enough natural light to work by, but the days grew shorter and I was beginning to hate the lamp I had made. It worked well enough to illuminate the darkness, but it was irritating. Stopping every seven minutes to spin the copper gears, especially when I was so close to finishing my project, was the last thing I wanted to do. I was repeating the same, painfully slow steps, over and over, only to have the light give up at the most critical point each time. I had one option left. I cranked that blessed wheel as if my life depended upon it; the electric fields buzzed like a swarm of worker bees. I was sure to have at least ten minutes this time. I adjusted my goggles, curled my toes, and slid the telescoping lens into place. The ground no longer warmed my feet. There was a chill in the air; Ash Winter would be arriving soon. I carefully picked up a tiny brass pin when suddenly, the doors behind me swung open. The pin fell. Mother found me.
