To All The Writers I've Loved Before...

My blog is itching for some excitement. Therefore, I'm doing a shout out to see if any of you lovely writers would like to be interviewed here. Not that I have a huge following, but I'm adding a few each week, and I post on Facebook my author page via Networked Blogs. I also post blog links at Critique Circle, and often on my publisher's yahoo group page. So, you might get a little more exposure.

The interview will consist of just a few basic questions, and I might even have you send an excerpt of your work to post here as well. Plus, I'm steadily reading and doing book reviews, which you'll continue to see here. I'm not taking requests for those yet, as my time is limited, and I'm a notoriously slow reader.

But, for now--if anyone wants an interview, please leave a comment, or send me a message via the link at the top right. And away we'll go!

  1. hum... there is no other place to wish you a happy Valentine's Day. But I don't think I have anything interesting to share in an interview >_<.
Hopefully other people will sign up for it.

  2. A neat idea! I haven't been writing seriously for very long but have had a couple of flash pieces published. I write contemporary romance an am dabbling in paranormal. I'm also pretty new to blogging - I'm up for an interview regarding my work and being new to the business, if you think I'm suitable. Will not be offended if I'm not :-)

  3. Hey Margo, I've got four people on board already, which is great! I'll get you in for next Friday, Feb. 25, if that's ok? I'll send you questions before that, and make sure you approve the format before I post.

  4. Good day Mysti
Dalian Artanian here, author of Fawcetta, Voices and Echoes of the Colisuem, Vol 1
Like your site, very nice.... include me in any of your interviews..

  5. Thanks Dalian! I've penciled you in for March 2, if that's ok. I'll send questions before then, and make sure you approve before I post.

  6. I'd love to be involved in an interview.

Here's an introduction so you know what you're getting into. ;)

I don't have any published works at the moment. I'm 35,000 words or so into my first novel, "Aundes Aura". I've been writing since I was seven. I'm turning 18 in two months.

I intend to take the indie route to publish my novels, and I have 7 more planned after "Aundes Aura", all part of the "Válkia Chronicles".

  7. I'd love to post an interview for you Ryan! I'll look at my calendar and get back to you. It'll probably be in April if that's ok.

  8. FYI, to anyone interested, doesn't matter if you're published or not. Even if you're just starting out, working on your first draft, you're welcome for an interview.
